The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger is your professional solution for adaptive 3-stage charging with built-in Bluetooth technology. The charger is designed for dual battery systems in vehicles or on boats, leveraging the power of smart alternators and the start battery to efficiently charge the service battery. All with the convenience of Bluetooth, monitoring and programming.
Compatible with 12V and 24V systems with Lead Acid AGM, Gel and Lithium batteries, this charger is as versatile as it is powerful. Models up to 400W, its capability can be expanded infinitely by connecting multiple units in parallel, providing a solution that grows with your power demands. Engineered to withstand extreme environments, it delivers full-rated output up to 40°C and remains reliable up to 55°C.
The Orion Smart DC-DC Chargers excel as a power supply, stabilizing output voltage against varying loads or input voltages, ensuring your equipment receives consistent power. The three-stage charge algorithm extends battery life, making it ideal for vehicles with smart alternators or where voltage drops due to long cable runs. It protects your alternator in lithium systems by preventing overload with its controlled charging feature.
Installation and operation are thoughtfully simplified. The built-in engine shutdown detection feature allows the charger to operate only when the engine is running, preserving your vehicle’s onboard voltage. This smart functionality eliminates the need for complex installations, separate motor run sensors, or vehicle system modifications. Additionally, an optional forced allowed-to-charge setting provides further flexibility, integrating seamlessly with your vehicle’s ignition switch.
